I couldn't put the book down.seriously.I haven't felt that way about a book in a long time. She will have to wait a little while.
If I am going to dissapear into a book, I want a happy ending. I am not into Tragedies.I hate a story that doesn't have a happy ending.
Satisfied is the only word I can think of to describe the way this book made me feel. I am glad I read it before my 11 year old did.
I am truely satisfied. I am glad she left it open to the possibility of more books.
I would seriously not suggest this book to anyone under 13 or 14.
This book is similar to Breaking Dawn in the Scifi/love storyline and she really centers the story around her characters. I think the connections between characters and discovering the everyday interactions between a cult of Vampires is far more interesting. Since I enjoyed the last book so much I jumped right on her new book The Host. After reading all the books in the Twilight saga I can say that Breaking Dawn is my favorite. I hope everyone reads these reviews with a grain of salt and reads a book to discover for yourself what you like and not what someone else doesn't like. By the time you get to Breaking Dawn you can see a great deal of improvement in Stephanie Meyer's writing. While I enjoyed the creativity of Twilight the level of writing was not good enough yet. I love that she foccused on the characters more than some ridiculous conflict or needless bloodbath.
I have read all the books at least five or six times. I just can't get enough.
What I didn't like was the unbelievable resolution Meyer wrote in regards to Bella's parents. Meyer's also wants you to accept that Bella's mom just happily goes about her own life without much contact or need to know what's happening in her daughter's life. If you're a fan of this series, you will need to read this book even though it's not as good as the previous installments. She wants you to believe that Bella's dad, a policeman no less, would accept Bella's immortality without questioning her physical transformation as well as the "adopted child" that looks just like her and who grows at a miraculous pace. I expected better in the handling of such "loose ends". The characters you love are present, though sadly some seem to go through a personality change and become less true to character. Some criticize this book for its storybook happy ending, which I'm actually OK with.
I have nothing bad to say. This item was in perfect condition and came very fast.
